1. Say ‘no’ often-
How often we end up wasting our time and put important tasks at bay because we are not able to say ‘no’ to someone. This is human behavior that we have an urge to keep people happy.
It is fine to participate once in a while, but if it is taking too much of your time then my friend you must learn to say NO.
Most of the difficulties we face are due to the fact we don’t prioritize things and people in our life. Every individual has his own way of living life. Some want to excel in their career very fast whereas some want to keep aside some time for their loved ones. It’s all about priorities.
It becomes easy to filter out unwanted elements.
3. Make a to-do list for your day-
We feel lost when we wake up in the morning thinking how do we start our day. Our tasks overlap with each other if we don’t plan our schedule properly. It is better to sit down for 5 minutes and make a list of things that you need to accomplish in your day.
Trust us this is the best thing you will do for yourself.
4. Meditate daily for 10 minutes-
To release that unnecessary stress try meditating. It improves your concentration and makes you feel light.
You focus on your each and every breath, meditation calms your mind and you feel rejuvenated. 10 minutes is enough if you don’t have much time.
5. Watch less tv-
You don’t realize this but television takes a good amount of time in our lives. Instead of watching television we can talk to our family or pursue a hobby at that time.
Some informational channel is fine for some time but other than that it is a complete waste of time.
6. Keep your phone on silent for 1 hour-
Our life is occupied by constant buzzing on our phone. Keep some time aside for yourself away from your mobile. This will be a welcome relief. You won’t have to run towards your phone to check every time when there is a buzz from some app notification.
7. Spend time with nature every morning-
Either walk on grass barefoot or just sit around the plants sipping your early morning coffee. Nature has given us so much but due to our busy schedule, we don’t take out time to enjoy and appreciate it enough.
8. Finish your less favourite tasks first-
Our brain gets tired after sometime and if the pending tasks don’t interest you much then it is likely that you will leave them and think of doing them later.
To avoid this situation try doing less interesting tasks first. Your favourite tasks will find a way into your routine automatically.
9. Limit your group-
As they say the more you have, the more there is to maintain. The bigger the friend circle, the more time they demand. Try to limit your circle. This will leave plenty of time to focus on yourself.
Getting rid of unwanted papers and useless items will declutter your cupboard as well as time. Organize your belongings to save time and energy and make your life hassle-free.
11. Say no to negativity-
Be it your own negative thoughts or the negative people, eradicate them from your life. This will save you from unnecessary trouble and drama and give you more time to focus on your goals.
12. Be punctual-
Leave for the destination by taking some margin and arrive before time. This trick helps when there is traffic on road or you are unfamiliar with the place and lose the directions.
This makes you look good as a person and shows that you respect your time as well as others.
13. Ask for help-
There is no harm in asking for the help of others if it saves time. This is helpful in building more trustworthy relations between people.
14. Workout daily-
Working out daily is kind of a therapy that makes you happy and active. It pumps the blood to your brain cells which makes you more active.
Going for a run or just doing cardio for 15 minutes is enough to achieve this objective.
15. Prepare for next day in advance-
This trick comes in handy if you have a meeting the next morning. Organizing your essentials and ironing your clothes saves you from the morning hustle and is a real time saver.
