Since the beginning of the 21st Century, Marathi movies saw itself broken by hurriedly written scripts and almost as carelessly directed final prints. It has been miserable in terms of finances, and the arrival of cheap, almost obscene kind of rural comedy that entered into mainstream Marathi film.
